For all its
wild looks and impractical airs, the Confederate Hellcat X132's chassis and
engine are designed and constructed significantly differently from mass produced
"custom style" motorcycles. Confederate's new platform is called
X-Vault and was developed with S&S motors. Unlike traditional engine mounts
which attach a mill to a frame via bushings, this setup involves bolting the
CNC-milled engine case directly to the frame, making it a stressed member. The
air-cooled v-twin X132 Copperhead engine is also one helluva piece of
engineering, displacing no fewer than 132 cubic inches, or 2,163cc, and is
constructed of billet 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum; visible through a clear
window of machined polycarbonate are the cam's belt drives. The mechanical
peepshow continues with a visible oil reservoir that reveals the dark stuff
sloshing and churning around as the engine runs. Output is rated at 132
horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. A 5-speed close ratio gearbox drives the
190mm rear wheel via a chain, and suspension consists of a 50mm rebound and
compression-adjustable Marzocchi fork up front, and a rebound and
compression-adjustable Race Tech coilover at the rear. The frame is a hand Tog
welded steel unit.
Visually

steering. The glove box is quite big for storage.
Renault Duster’s flat seats will surely be comfortable in
Indian car with the usage of high quality materials having a premium touch to
it. Even the material used on the door sills is up-market. The music system is
integrated well in the central console and looks modish with its Bluetooth and
aux input functions. Front seats are two electrically programmable but without
memory functions. Power window switches for the rear passengers are most likely
to be on comfortable door pads. The shiny brown door handles will be large to
hold while turns and jerk.
Interior Comfort
Duster has a large, comfortable interior. Interior comfort
is provided by cushioned seats in the SUV. One will surely get good head room,

Yamaha India rocked the Auto Expo 2012 with the launch two
special edition bikes, unveiled all-new global scooter 'Ray 'and displayed 2012
model of Yamaha YZF-R1. Yamaha Xeon 125, Mio and Fino scooters were also on
display. The company is planning to increase its production capacity in the
country from the current 6.5 lakh units to 10 lakh units by 2013. Yamaha, which
already has two plants in India, is also planning to come up with a third
plant. Yamaha kept its promise by unveiling all-new global scooter 'Ray' at the
auto show, it was unleashed by none other than John Abraham. The shade on
display was striking purple in combination with jet black. The gearless scooter
is aimed squarely at girls and the production version of the Ray Concept has
been launched today (14th September, 2012) in Indian market.

Yamaha claims that the Ray will have an average fuel consumption of 45 kilometres per litre, which would put it roughly on a level with many of its competitors. However, in the past Yamaha’s estimates have been found to be somewhat generous, so it will return around 40 and 45 kilometres per litre for inner city driving, pushing to 50 kilometres per litre for flat out highway driving.
